Your colors, your tools.
I will join you in a transformative session where we will choose colors that are special for you. Our choices will be based on understanding where you are in your life, where you want to be, and how creative colors and textures can help you bring beauty and change into your life.
Colors can be a tool for you to surround yourself with more confidence, more elegance, more energy, or any number of other qualities you want to bring into the places you spend your most valuable time.
“Color is a power which directly influences the soul.” -Wassily Kandinsky
The 5-Step process
The LeBaron Method of color consulting.
The goal is to identify where you are, where you want to be, and the transformation you want to see in your life. Through the process, we will identify the colors and textures that will give you this transformation, and come up with an artistic palette just for you.
We set up a time to meet 1-on-1 and interview for an hour or two.
2. Deep Listening
I’ll talk with you, and through the process of deep listening, I’ll get an understanding of where you are right now in your life and where you want to be. Whether you want to feel more peace in your life or more excitement, more passion and energy, or to create a sacred space just for you. This will be revealed during this collaborative process.
Through this discussion, keywords will emerge which I will use combined with an intuitive feeling and connection. This will result in a collection of paint and texture possibilities that we will begin to work with.
At this point, we open the color deck and see what colors emerge. Together we will choose 3 or 4 and put them on a sample board, trying different combinations until I’m convinced you absolutely resonate with the palette.
Once we have a palette that represents the changes you’d like to see in your space and your life, we can talk about the possibility of adding textures or finishes to create something that reflects the unique quality of you. The entire process over the course of 2 or 3 meetings will generally take 2 to 3 hours.
“The whole world, as we experience it visually, comes to us through the mystic realm of color.” -Hans Hofmann
